The Story of Grace
Pastors Brian and Melissa Bauer moved from Los Angeles in June 2015 to plant and pastor Grace Church in San Marcos. In early 2015, the church property in San Marcos was vacant and Grace International was looking to plant a church in San Marcos, they just needed a pastor. At that same time, Brian and Melissa felt the Lord calling them to take a step of faith and they resigned from their role as Executive Pastor at The Church On The Way Santa Clarita. The Lord connected the Bauer’s with Grace International and on June 14, 2015 they came to San Marcos.
Brian and Melissa met at The King’s University and married, graduated, and entered full-time ministry in 2002. Brian has served as a youth pastor for The Church On The Way and as a worship pastor and Executive Director of Ministries for The Church On The Way Santa Clarita. He also was a campus director for The King’s University.
Melissa has served in women’s ministry at The Church On The Way and for the International Church Of The Foursquare Gospel. She has also worked as an Academic Director for Ignite Academy and as a college professor for a decade.
They have a passion to see lives and communities transformed by the love and power of God.
